Small Business Saturday Comes to Tacony

Happy holidays! This year, the Tacony Community Development Corporation is celebrating by championing Small Business Saturday on November 26! This is an annual effort to encourage our communities to #shopsmall and support our local businesses. We kicked off the giving season with gift bags full of stickers, coupons, posters, and more for our local small business owners on Torresdale Avenue. Look for Shop Small posters and stickers and stop in at our participating businesses!

The Shop Small season will culminate in Small Business Saturday on November 26th, when we will be launching the brand new Tacony Walk and Shop self-guided shopping tour! This is a printable brochure listing Tacony’s participating small businesses, what they provide, and how to get there. We will also have free printed versions available at local businesses and at the Tacony Library. Although it was created to celebrate Small Business Saturday, the Tacony Walk and Shop will be available all year round. We can’t wait to see you out and about!
