First Fridays are Back!

This Friday, Mural Arts Tacony LAB Community Arts Center is kicking off a new year of First Fridays with a Community Resource Fair! Hosted at 6918 Torresdale Ave, the event will run from 6-9 PM on February 2 and feature organizations, resources, and businesses relevant to our community.

This month's First Friday is all about celebrating the Tacony community and its nonprofits, businesses, and residents. Stop by and visit tables manned by local nonprofits such as the Tacony Community Development Corporation and the Block Gives Back to find out how they're giving back to the neighborhood. Or visit the Mural Arts table to learn about public art and the role of the Tacony LAB in our community! Looking to get involved yourself? Meet the folks behind the Tacony Civic Association, answer surveys about upcoming Tacony projects, or find out what events are on the horizon!

Since this Friday is also a holiday (Groundhog's Day!), the LAB will also have a special competition open to everyone who comes, with a prize provided by the Tacony Community Development Corporation. Come on over for community, refreshments, activities, and more!
