This Saturday at 6944 Torresdale Ave from 8:30-1:30 PM, the Tacony CDC is coordinating with Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Mural Arts Tacony LAB Community Arts Center to organize a small pop up event to feature Mural Arts artist Cody Stuhtrager’s work on the new Christa Lewis mural.
Cody has been working with the Lewis family to update the previous mural but needed a space to work. The CDC worked with the building owner at 6944 Torresdale Ave and the Tacony LAB to allow Cody to use the under-construction storefront as a studio! Now, he's opening that studio to the public for one final look at the work in progress before the mural is installed in Russo Park.
