Tacony Community Development Corporation Receives $5,000 Grant for Neighborhood Marketing & Beautification

The Tacony Community Development Corporation is pleased to thank Councilman Bobby Henon and the Philadelphia Department of Commerce for a $5,000 grant to support our commercial corridor revitalization work. This grant supports support corridor marketing and landscaping upgrades to Torresdale Ave. These funds are provided through an agreement forged by Philadelphia City Council and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) to share revenue generated by digital advertising panels to support neighborhood economic development efforts.
