We're getting excited to host this month's Third Thursday at the Jack Costello Boxing Club on July 20th! The event will take place from 6-9pm at 6846 Torresdale Avenue and will feature live music from G. T. Arpe, the El Toro Serrano Food Truck, local vendors and organizations, and as always fresh produce from the Capriotti Brothers and bread from Nonno Ugo's Italian Bakery!
This month, music will be performed by local Philadelphia artist G. T. Arpe. A staple in the Philadelphia DIY music scene, G. T. Arpe performs in many different ways; sometimes as a one man band and sometimes with backing help or in collaborations. His style ranges from folk to experimental, and he has a long history of encouraging and supporting musical acts throughout Philadelphia and New York. G. T. Arpe was formed in 1997 with the solo record Guitarpe for Beginners, in which he played with up to five guitars at a time; two of them with his feet. He's toured in Alaska, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, China, New Zealand, Korea, Australia, and most recently in the United Kingdom. Learn more on his website!
