Tacony Winter Wander: December 1st

Join us for a walk into the Tacony Winter Wanderland on December 1st! The Tacony Community Development Corporation is partnering with local businesses and organizations to kick off the season with a holiday-themed stroll down Torresdale Avenue, featuring shopping, entertainment, and family photo opportunities.

Begin your evening at 4 PM at CityReach Church, where they’ll be handing out free hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows, singing classic carols, and hosting a family photo wall until 7 PM! Get the whole family together for Christmas photos, then continue your walk down to the Vintage Pop-Up hosted inside Niambiance Event Space from 4:30-7 PM. Grab some coffee and pastries from Thundermug Cafe, shop for discounted vintage clothing and housewares from Wot in Salvation Vintage Clothes and Small Wonderful Things House Goods, and check out the new line of Tacony Totes, T-shirts, and House Flags! Got a big Taconyite in your life? This is definitely the place to buy their gifts!

Wrap up the night with a short jaunt to the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center for their monthly First Friday event from 5-9 PM. This time, featuring the Annual Holiday Maker’s Market for all of your holiday shopping needs, plus photos with Santa! Stick around for live music and refreshments, and celebrate Tacony’s artists while getting your shopping done all at once. It’s a win-win!
