This past month has been a busy one for Tacony CDC and the Post
Office--we have mailed a letter to every business and household in the neighborhood! We
undertake a major campaign like this one once every two years, in part
to raise funds for our efforts and in part to spread the word about what
our organization does.
In just the few short weeks since we sent out the first round of letters, we have added
almost 100 members. Additionally, many neighbors have reached out to learn more about what we do. For an organization that runs on volunteer labor, the greater the awareness, the better.
