The Tacony Community Development Corporation's 2nd annual Halloween Celebration was a major success. The event sponsors included the Free Library of Philadelphia, Tacony LAB, CItyReach Church, 15th Police District, and the Office of Councilman Bobby Henon. Participants enjoyed a graveyard ghoul band, library decorations, pop-up campfire, decorative lighting, a mask bar, costume contest, and arts and crafts. The Trunk or Treat portion on Torresdale Ave was well attended as children looked their best for Halloween. Again, our thanks to the sponsors and we look forward to next year!
