Last week Tacony CDC had the opportunity to speak at the National Mainstreet Conference in Seattle, Washington.
Tuesday's presentation was organized by Heritage Consulting Inc. on Catalyst Projects Yield Extraordinary Results for Downtowns. The CDC presented with Roxborough Development Corporation and Metuchen Downtown Alliance on initiatives that were made possible by having strategic plans in place and data-driven efforts. On Wednesday Tacony CDC presented with our closest partner, the Tacony Free Library of Philadelphia, to help Main Streets across America unlock the potential of engaging the community Library to be an inclusive space for all residents, not just a transactional place to get books. The Tacony CDC is looking forward to implementing what we learned and to Main Street NOW 2020!
