Tacony CDC Seeks Communications Intern

We are hiring! The Tacony Community Development is looking for the perfect candidate to fill our Fall Communications Internship Position.

The Communications Internship is designed for students who are currently enrolled in either a graduate or an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university. We are seeking someone who is passionate about community-centric nonprofit work, and excited to expand their writing and communication skills. You will gain knowledge in nonprofit communications, event planning, social media management, graphic design, and more. Preference will be given to applicants who have a connection to Tacony and/or Northeast Philadelphia.

This is a paid internship position and we are willing to work with your University or College to arrange credit. The Communications Intern will be expected to work approximately 10 hours per week and be compensated $18/hour for 12 weeks. You will be expected to be onsite in our office at least twice per week; we will work with you to arrange this time around your schedule. The Communications Intern will report directly to the Corridor Manager, and will work closely with the Corridor Manager and the Executive Director.
